    A Silent Meditation Day-Retreat

    Sunday, March 24
    8 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Day retreats are designed to help us go deeper while remaining inside our lives. We don’t have to leave, or change, or stop completely to grow our joy. On Sunday, March 24, join Meryl for a brief pause to get quiet, to get curious, and to cultivate what we most want to grow this spring.

“The point of gathering stillness is not to enrich the sanctuary or the mountaintop, but to bring that calm into the motion, the commotion of the world.”   ~Pico Iyer

This day retreat will include guided meditation, silent meditation, walking meditation and journaling. Some meditation experience is recommended, but you don’t need to be an expert! This is designed for all of us. The parent, the student, the zen and the stressed…

    Tea and snacks provided.
Please bring a journal and pen.

Give yourself the gift of not only this experience but time and space afterwards. Don’t schedule a noisy, busy afternoon. Stay at home. Get your grocery shopping/meal planning/to-do-list-making done earlier so that this day seamlessly shifts from the silent retreat to the comforts of home, whether alone or with the company of your family.

Space is limited to 14 participants. Register Today.

$108 per person if registered by Feb 28, $135 thereafter.

  • Meditation Teacher Immersion An Art of Chill CEU program

    Meditation Teacher Immersion

    Friday, August 23 – Sunday, August 25
    Friday 7:45-9:15pm
    Saturday 1:00-7:00pm
    Sunday 8:30-3:30pm

The traditional yoga practice was originally designed to support extended periods of meditation, and yet most of us, as yoga teachers, received very little formal training in meditation. Your 200-hour training prepared you to guide your students through an in-depth yoga practice. Now, it is time to give them the next step. Meditation.

The research surrounding meditation shows it is powerfully potent, physically and chemically changing your brain, boosting immune function and increases positive emotions.
Meryl’s Meditation Immersion is designed for Yoga Teachers looking to incorporate meditation into their classes as well as for those wanting to deepen a personal meditation practice. In this 15-hour course, you will:
    • Experience extended meditations
    • Learn how to modify meditative postures for comfort
    • Discover the differences between the most common meditation styles
    • Create your own guided meditations
    • Find your meditative voice through practice teaches with the guidance of a mentor

Expect to walk away comfortable with a silent, at-home meditation practice as well as ready to incorporate mini-meditations into your yoga classes. This is part of our CEU program, designed to give experienced teachers additional tools to create a speciality as a professional teacher.

210-Hour Yoga & Meditation Teacher Training

Begins September 2019 – ONLY 10 Spaces Left!

We are here to be lit from the inside out. To be courageous enough to pause, be still, and then move. {Chill with all of the running all over the place, all of the competing, all of the disconnection.} We are here to move from a deep, resonant, and woke place. We are here to be in purposeful, empowering inquiry- together. We are here to challenge, support, and encourage each other. Anchored in stillness and mindful movement, our training invites you to question what yoga “has to” look and feel like. More than pushing boundaries and finding your edge, our training bravely guides you to identify, trust, live, and teach from your center. This is an opportunity to learn, explore, and grow in a sacred and chill space.
