Metta Meditation Class
$ Donation Only $
All Levels Welcome

This month at SCW, we are practicing Metta all month. Metta is a formal meditation practice designed to cultivate love and compassion for all beings. Join me each week for Mon/Wed meditation classes as we learn the different elements of this compassion practice.

Our final February meditation, on Monday, Feb 27 at 6:15 p.m., is going to be a celebration of community and compassion.

We will practice a full, traditional Metta meditation. This class will be a DONATION-ONLY class! All proceeds (cash or check only, please) will benefit our amazing community neighbor – The Agape Youth & Family Center.

Agape is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that empowers and supports underserved families within our community to discover and embrace their full potential. They do this in part by serving over 200 school-age children year round in innovative, in-school and after-school academic support programs; and 40 senior citizens providing a vibrant, social, safe community.

Did you know that “agape” is an ancient greek word meaning Love? It is the very love we talk about when practicing Metta. Want to learn more? Join me each Monday and Wednesday in February at Sacred Chill {West}.
