About Me

Mama. Meditator. Yogini. Teacher.

On the mat, I am co-owner of Sacred Chill {West}, a 500-hour E-RYT, and a Yoga Therapist with a certification from Pranakriya. My passion is introducing mindfulness in both movement and stillness in ways that are accessible to all of us. I have taught yoga & meditation to Fortune 500 companies, from the floor of Phillips Arena, at festivals and studios across the city, and I helped create the first yoga + meditation studio in Atlanta to offer regular, independent meditation classes. Teaching over 300 hours of meditation each year, I continue to study and practice daily with teachers I respect deeply, including Tara Brach, Jack Kornfield, Eline Snel, and Yoganand Michael Carroll. Outside of general yoga practices, I focus much of my work on the use of yoga and mindfulness to address trauma and addiction.

Off the mat, I am the mom to one awesome little dude, the wife of my high school honey and the oldest of four kids. I graduated from the University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism & Mass Communications (Go Dawgs!) with a BA in Broadcast News. I spent almost 10 years doing public relations for the restaurant industry and I will always love visiting a good restaurant. I served on the board of Slow Food Atlanta for several years, volunteered with Share Our Strength, and currently, I am on Pranakriya’s board of directors. I love to spend time in the mountains with my family camping, hiking and marshmallow roasting.

I will always encourage you to get on the mat, to be honest and most importantly to be yourself. We can all be happy, we can find a way to be comfortable in our bodies, and we can have fun doing it.

Join me.
