Our Mindful Nature explores the deep connection between the land and Self through nature-based meditations that invite us back into belonging - to each other, our ancestors, the earth, and all beings that make up this universe.
This podcast features interviews, guided meditations, and collaborations with some of the top nature field recordists of our time. Each episode is created with the goal of fostering connection and resilience in the face of climate crisis. Trust + Intention {part 1 of 3}
I recently heard someone express that Trust is the antithesis of shame. Trust is asking us to believe that the moment is complete rather than believing we are flawed and unworthy of acceptance. Trust is asking us to set aside our negativity bias – the subconscious assumption that this moment is a problem and needs to be fixed – and instead to stay present.
Deep Questioning
Our August meditation series has been based on how we connect our meditation practice to our real life. Deeper Connection is about connecting the stillness and reflection of meditation into the on-the-go, action of our day-to-day lives. As we talked about the last few weeks, this connection begins with Deep Listening, followed by Deep Speaking, and today, in our final installment of this series, we look at Deep Questioning.

This month’s meditation series is titled Deeper Connection, and it is all about how our meditation practice translates off the mat. I am so excited to explore this with y’all because really this is my meditation passion.
The Mundane & The Enlightened
This week’s meditation is a final look at ritual within our practice. I’m the first to admit my practice doesn’t always feel especially ritualistic or spiritual. Often, I meditate in my living room while my son watches TV nearby. My partner getting ready for work in the other room. There is noise, distraction, and lots of real life interruptions. And, yet, regardless of whether I meditate in a silent, retreat space filled with candles and incense or at home with my son asking “how much longer???” one hundred times, there is something sacred to me within this practice.
